Step-By-Step is a “Parent’s Day Out” program for children ages 1 year to pre-K that meets each Tuesday and Thursday during the school year from 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.  Step-By-Step’s goals are:

  • To be a place where Christian love and values are nurtured.
  • To be a place where children are loved, accepted, and safe.
  • To be a place where families are enriched and supported.

Step-By-Step is a great place for your little one to learn the basics they will need to know before entering Kindergarten-things like letters, numbers, shapes, days of the weeks, months of the year, plus how to share and get along with other children.

There is a chapel service every school day at 10:30 where the kids sing fun songs and hear Bible stories.  Parents are welcome to come and participate.

Special activities are built into the curriculum such as visits from the Easter bunny and Santa Claus, a Thanksgiving “feast”, seeing a real fire truck up close and many other fun and exciting things.  For more information, email Step-By-Step Director Kim Lewis at  For openings call (432) 699-7064.
