Scott Sheppard – Pulpit Minister

Scott is ithe pulpit minister for Fairmont Park. Scott has previously worked at churches in Gorman, TX, Hobbs, NM, Ft. Worth, TX and Mineral Wells, TX.Scott has been married to Ruth (Tolbert) for 30 years. They have three grown children. Scott holds a B.S. in Communication from Tarleton State University and has studied at Abilene Christian University. In his free time Scott enjoys sneaking off to the movies, watching sports and spending time with his family.

Steven Smith – Youth Minister

Steven serves as the youth minister at Fairmont Park. Steven has been working in youth ministry since 2001. Steven has previously ministered at Freetown Road Church of Christ in Grand Prairie, Texas and Hillcrest Church of Christ in Arlington, Texas. Steven holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science in Christian Ministry from Dallas Baptist University.<

Steven is married to Celeste Smith and they have a ten year old daughter named Lily and a 2 year old daughter named River. In his spare time Steven enjoys spending time with his family, paddling Texas rivers, backpacking hiking, and camping.

Don Mitchell – Outreach Minister

Don serves as the outreach minister at Fairmont Park. He also has responsibilities with the “39er’s”. Don and his wife Gayle have lived in Midland for 35 years working with the Ft. Worth & Jax Streets church and the Westside congregation before coming to Fairmont in May 2003.

Don holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Abilene Christian University. The Mitchell’s have four children: Larry, Shari, Rick and Emily. They also have four grandchildren. In his spare time, Don enjoys gardening and yard work.

Adam Elliott – Cross Ministries Outreach Minister

Adam serves as the Outreach Center Minister at Cross Ministries, working with youth and adults in inner-city Midland. Adam previously served as the resident minister at Fairmont Park Church of Christ.

Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible/Preaching from Lubbock Christian University. He is married to Lindsay and they have one daughter, Capri. In his spare time, Adam enjoys spending time with family and working on his house.
